John Lennon believed in peace, as I say this I'm reminded of his classic message:
"War is Over! if you want it"
A message he & wife Yoko would personally scrawl across the concrete jungles of NYC.
The Beatles are infinite, universal, transcending countless generations.
Lennon would use his stardom as a catalyst to spread his gospel across the planet.
The world needs more Lennon's, the celebs of today fail to raise their voices,
obviously to refrain from jeopardizing their careers.
Many of those in the spotlight who have a realistic or "alternative" view are typically demonized,
and their message either is ignored by the mainstream or falls on deaf ears.
Lennon wasn't afraid to stick his neck out, for he understood its importance,
as should the majority of todays celebs.
Whether conducting bed-ins, preaching the gospel, or simply writing songs with a meaning,
he used his primal scream to inform the masses that they too have a voice.
