Following cutting $1.8 billion to mental health services over the last 2.5 yearsSenator Martin Harty (R-NH) made disgusting comments regarding the mentally ill
in a private phone conversation with a manager of a local community health care center.
After declaring "the world is too populated," & "there's too many defective people,"
he foolishly stated:
“I wish we had a Siberia so we could ship them all off to freeze to death & die and clean up the population.”
When the manager remarked that his comments reminded her of the views of Hitler, he replied:
"Hitler did something right, and I agree with (it)."
