Rapture Ruptured: database of false end time predictions

In an era of fear, end time predictions are abundant.
Luckily for us, a compilation has been made to database previous miscalculations 

which should undoubtedly aid in calming the nerves a bit, 

at least until the next tantalizing apocalyptic hymn arrives.

Similarly, once it is realized that we sit on a rock atom-sized in comparison to the rest of the Universe, 

all insignificant earth complications tend to pale once epiphany is achieved.

At least until  the memory is consumed by minor trivialities once again.
