Recently NASA in association with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) & FEMA
conducted their latest 'continuity of government' (COG) exercise entitled Eagle Horizon,
primarily focusing on preparedness in the event of a nuclear detonation in a U.S. city.
Following this, NASA head Charles Bolden decided to issue the above warning, stating he:
"became aware of some things that concerned me about family preparedness".
