Life Expectancy: 49th

In terms of life expectancy the United States has now slipped from being 24th in 1999
to now residing at 49th.
The nation which placed 5th of all industrialized nations by 1950 has since plummeted.
Many speculate whether or not rising inflation & a deteriorating health care system are to blame.
Year after year Americas health care ranks amongst the worst.
Spending nearly double what other countries do, for sub-par care.

To boot, the country falls to 30th in infant mortality rates.
The pope has now urged world governments to provide universal health care coverage.
In the U.S. alone, 18,000 preventable deaths occur annually due to individuals being uninsured.
