The Israeli government uses these biblical passages to vindicate themselves from sin,
as they bulldoze the lives & history of their neighbors in an effort of continuous expansion.
In the Bible, once Joshua assumed power, the Israelites stormed Jericho.
Thereupon "all the silver, & gold, & vessels of brass & iron, are consecrated unto the lord, they shall come into the treasury of the lord." - Joshua (6:19)
In the Battle of Ali, the Bible states the entire population of Ali (12k) was slaughtered.
