Microwave Popcorn: carcinogen cocktail

a synthetic chemical commonly used to line non-stick cookware.
This chemical is a likely carcinogen and that it doesn’t degrade in the environment.
This man-made chemical is also used in fast food containers and even fabrics
and has been found in the blood of 95% of Americans.

PFOAs play an important role in the production of PFC's, essential to non-stick pans.
Think about that... Teflon, which prides itself on being indestructible absorbed in trace amounts into your digestive system & subsequent bloodstream, nearly incapable of being broken down.
and thus accumulating in the body. A chemical formerly linked to early menopause in women.

Additionally most microwave popcorn also contains the chemical diacetyl, which gives it that buttery taste. Due to this ingredient,
scientists have warned that prolonged exposure to microwave popcorn fumes can lead to lung disease.

If this was not enough, the appliance which the food is being cooked in
has also been the subject of controversy.
The microwave itself holds many vulnerabilities,
doesn't take a genius to realize that radiation is detrimental to personal health.
Russia has banned the use of microwave ovens due to the negative impact it had on peoples health.
Meanwhile 22.5% of the meals in American homes in 2009 were 'nuked'. 20% from 1990-2007.
Some of the effects Russian studies observed include:
-creation of cancer causing agents
-increased chance of cancer development
&
-decreased nutritional value of food

1). Continually eating food processed from a microwave oven
causes long term, permanent brain damage by “shorting out” electrical impulses in the brain
[de-polarizing or de-magnetizing the brain tissue].

2). The human body cannot metabolize [break down] the unknown by-products created in microwaved food.

3). Male and female hormone production is shut down and/or altered by continually eating microwaved foods.

4). The effects of microwaved food by-products are residual [long term, permanent] within the human body.

5). Minerals, vitamins, and nutrients of all microwaved food is reduced or altered so that the human body gets little or no benefit, or the human body absorbs altered compounds that cannot be broken down.

6). The minerals in vegetables are altered into cancerous free radicals when cooked in microwave ovens.

7). Microwaved foods cause stomach and intestinal cancerous growths [tumors].
This may explain the rapidly increased rate of colon cancer in America.

8). The prolonged eating of microwaved foods causes cancerous cells to increase in human blood.

9). Continual ingestion of microwaved food causes immune system deficiencies
through lymph gland and blood serum alterations.

10). Eating microwaved food causes loss of memory, concentration, emotional instability,
and a decrease of intelligence.

what gets me with topics such as these and the like,
is that its so hard to convince others to even research the matter, because it's so unbelievable.
One would assume the companies who make these products did a fair share of testing in order to ensure public safety. But either they're not doing the testing (which I find hard to believe) or they release it despite the blatant dangers associated with it.
When I put my money down on something I'm usually thinking about the purpose or quality of the item, contemplating in what ways it will benefit my life.
We live in such an advanced age of technology. Should I have to wonder what the long term effects of its use will be or whether or not my life expectancy and that of my family will be harmed in any way?
Do I have to become an expert in the field of the chemicals involved or do my own studies?
It's amazing this day in age we have so much overhead such as the FDA, the USDA, etc.
and they are simply not protecting the citizens paying their salaries.
Makes you wonder if they're intentionally trying to harm us cause there's really no other explanation
(other than money that is)
Quite simply: we put our faith in these products, and invest OUR money to keep them afloat.
We should be rewarded with quality, not brain tumors... and when the product in question is food, c'mon!
