CIA Director Leon Panettacalculates there are less than 100 Al-Qaida militants operating in Afghanistan.
Yet we have 102,000 US servicemen & 120,000 private contractors stationed there.
Hmmmm??... Is it due to the newly discovered $1 trillion in mineral deposits...?
Maybe the oil, considering 80-100 wells were just awarded to BP?
Maybe the opium are troops are ordered to protect and cultivate?
