In what will hopefully be his last term as Senator, Harry Reid (D-NV) left America a going-away present.Nestled within the Defense Authorization Bill lies the DREAM Act.
A piece of legislation which will provide amnesty to illegal aliens who:
-serve 2 years in the military
-"acquire a degree from an institute of higher education"
Those in the immigration rights community were upset the military duty was even included,
as previously the standalone bill had included community service but was replaced,
due to the rise of our imperialistic power-hungry war machine.
In the long run the bill will surely open the door for the families of those who receive amnesty to become citizens as well.
