The infamous "Collateral Murder" video,
a classified US military video depicting a US Apache helicopter conducting 3 airstrikes on July 12, 2007 in the city of New Baghdad, Iraq.
Which turned out to be an unlucky day for 18 civilians who lost their lives in the attack.
Including the death of 2 Reuters journalists.
The 1st sequence shows the chopper gunner firing upon what it believes to be a threat.
The 2nd sequence shows a van on its way to deliver 2 children to school picking up the victims of the attack, the chopper then fires upon the van.
The 3rd sequence depicts the chopper pitching 3 hellfire missiles into a building occupied by 3 families.
The video was allegedly leaked by U.S. Army Intelligence Analyst PFC Bradley Manning,
a 22 year old from Potomac, Maryland.
Who has also been allegedly linked to the release of the Afghan War Diaries,
which military personnel are still banned from viewing, despite it being publicly available on the net.
Wikileaks, the site which disclosed the Afghan logs, will soon be releasing the Iraq War Diaries,
rumored to be 3 times as large.
Daniel Ellsberg, who exposed the Pentagon Papers,
(an embarrassment to the White House which helped to end the Vietnam War)
called Bradley Manning a hero.
Liberal commentator Michael Moore is on a personal crusade to free Manning.
Protesters are pleading for September 16-19 to be
the International Days of Action for Bradley Manning
consisting of demonstrations/rallies, screenings of the video, & whistleblowing parties.
Politicians such as Congressman Mike Waters (R-Mich) have called for the execution of the private if he's indeed found guilty.
